Rev. Catherinegraduated with her Master of Divinity degree (with Honors) from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (Boston) in Spring, 2017. She was unanimously voted forward by Committee and her association's council for ordination with The American Baptist Churches of MA (TABCOM) In 2011 Rev. Catherine completed the Diploma in Christian Studies program at Gordon Conwell. In 2016, Catherine's pastoral vision statement won a Josetta Scholarship tuition award recognizing up and coming women pastors in New England. In 2013, Catherine was featured as a student emerging in ministry in Gordon Conwell's 2013 Annual Report. 2009 Catherine trained with and became a Senior Community Chaplain with International Fellowship of Chaplains. Years earlier, Catherinereceivednon-denominational ministerial licensing having completed leadership training with mentor, Rev. Juanita Price and Rev. Doreen Giles, (Pastors, Saved Souls Church --New Jersey). She receivedfoundational instruction relating toproper Hermeneutics; laws of public speaking (modeling Jesus Christ); intro to Apologetics; and understanding Biblical Supportive Counseling. Rev. Price also facilitates mentee participation in Prison ministry fellowship.

Catherine and Shelton Miller serve as leaders in the English ministry of Congregation Lion of Judah which is a bilingual church in South End, Boston. Pastor Roberto Miranda is the Senior Pastor.Catherine service at "CLJ"since 2010 has included teaching open-discussion bible study, leadingprayer cross-gender and women's prayer groups; preaching; leading devotion/worship for certain bi-lingual services; and facilitating shelter service/bible study at Woods Mellon shelter. Her husband teaches Discipleship classes for sheltered community, etc. and leads the English Men's Ministry.

Catherinewas a volunteer Bible Studyteacher for incarcerated at-risk minor girls through Straight Ahead Ministriesand her husband currently volunteers as a bible study at a facility for at-risk young men with Straight Ahead Catherine has a passion for the sick and shut-in; homeless/displaced communities; food pantries, etc.

Catherinewas an active member of Victory Christian Tabernacle inBrooklyn, NYfrom 1996 through 2005 when she relocated to Massachusetts.Under the mentorship ofPastor Roberta Moore andotherleaders of she had the opportunity to work in the administrative department and teaching children's sunday school. Shebegan trainingas an altar worker and served in this rolefor many years being responsible for praying with and instructing new believersas they received Christ, as well as evangelism through street ministry. Catherinealso helped develop Victory'sdance ministry.

Catherine cherished her mom, Pearl D. Bigger whostuck by her through life's challengesand rejoiced greatly in her successes. Her mom modeled strong family values andwas an encourager toward always rejoicing whilepersevering! Her mom had great faith in God and exemplified what it meant to livedailyinpersonal relationship with Jesus Christ. Sheremainedactive in sharing the Gospel until the end, even when health prevented her from attendingher church,First AME Zion Church.Ms. Pearl went home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2010. Her favorite song was "Give Me a Clean Heart" which will be the constant prayer of Catherine's heartas she walks in The Way with Christ...
